Our board consists of six students and a non-executive staff member, here you’ll find who they are, and here’s what they do:
Carmen Reinisch is the Chair of the 2021-2022 Board. She is in her third and final year of PPLE and an Economics and Business major. Growing up as a triplet and having six siblings enabled her to understand multiple opinions and perspectives. This strength really helps her in her role as chair as it makes her open-minded yet assertive enough to keep everything rolling in the right direction. This is Carmen’s second year as a member of the TDP board. She is excited to take on another year filled with experiences and challenges.
co-head of initiatives
Hugo Kapteijn is a second-year PPLE student majoring in Law. As co-head of initiatives during this academic year, he aims to make the most out of the TDP’s influence. He believes that with a strong TDP presence, students can expand their horizons and become the best version of themselves. To that end, he’ll be organizing useful TDP-led events, in addition to inspiring student initiatives. He’ll do this together with his Co-head Heli. With an eye for detail and a passion for learning, he’ll do his best to add valuable experiences to the PPLE roster.
head of public relations
A second year student majoring in Law, Alberta is passionate about delivering information in a simple and straightforward manner. Her IB art background combined with the PR work she has done have given her the experience needed to creatively contribute to TDP. This year, she looks forward to sharing with you all the fun and educational workshops organised by TDP so PPLE students can grow their skills together.
Our 2021-2022 secretary is Farah Qureshi! Farah is a Dutch second-year politics major at PPLE. She likes theatre, traveling and meeting new people. If you meet her, don’t hesitate to share your ideas for TDP with her. As the secretary, she will manage internal communication and operations next to the TDP website.
Our 2021-2022 Treasurer is Mark Sivolap! Mark comes from Russia and is a third-year Economics major at PPLE. Mark’s passions are biking, playing tennis, and meeting new people. His role entails creating, checking and reallocating our yearly budget, sending invoices, and paying taxes for our guest speakers. Say hi when you meet him on campus, he would love to hear your ideas.
